| Bamboo poles, phai liang dam (ไผ่เลี้ยงดำ), 5 m long, diameter 4-5.5 cm, thick- walled to solid, 6 Baht each. Also shorter and longer (up to 15 m) poles available, cut in Apr. 2014, hence fresh, not dried. Poles of this bamboo species are usually used for making furniture and ladders, but can be used for any light construction and tools as well. Location: Pa Lan, Doi Saket.
