BKK11425G - This Bangkok Restaurant is truly chic, and sits in one of the major Sukhumvit sois, in the heart of the tourist area. The owner spent 45,000,000 baht on this beautiful venture when he established it only a few weeks ago; he is delighted with the result, but is reluctantly leaving the Kingdom, and must therefore sacrifice it. Situated in a two storey colonial style house, on 1,600 square metres of lush verdant gardens, the charming venue offers indoor air-conditioned dining and outdoor seating on the delightful open air terrace. Corporate events and private functions can also be booked here, and the upper storey is perfect for such. Luxuriously finished with teak decor and original 20th Century paintings, the restaurant also boasts a wine and cigar club for diners to enjoy before or after their meal. A wide range of fine imported wines and premium spirits are provided, along with the finest cigars. The venue can seat around 120 diners, and has approximately 50 employees to provide the best of service. The owner feels that he has provided one of the foremost dining experiences in the city, and early results are proving highly impressive, with the restaurant taking in receipts of 60,000 baht per day. These financial results would lead to annual receipts of 22,000,000 baht, and the good mark-ups would lead to impressive profits. The new owner will acquire the building itself, which has been valued at 30,000,000 baht, plus beautiful assets that were only recently purchased for 15,000,000 baht; he or she will have land rent of 350,000 baht per month to meet however, on a three year lease contract, and this will rise to 450,000 baht per month when the three year option is taken up in November 2007.
