| BANGKTH001222 Upscale fine dining restaurant located in a very popular Bangkok shopping and residential district with ample parking! A spectacular house restaurant with total CLASS. You want your breath to be taken away? Wait till you see the stunning decorations. The seller has done over $200,000 in leasehold improvements to renovate this "Glorious Old Lady" and over $100,000 in decorations, exquisite furniture, top of the line equipment in the kitchen will also be given to the new owner. This is a incredible restaurant with even a stage for the piano man! The only view, better than this, is with the Angels in Heaven. Here is just one of the rave reviews.. Near the BTS sky train station and a short stroll down this trendy soi brings you this spectacular House. Tucked away from the street with plenty of private parking spaces the restaurant is situated in a beautiful large country-style yellow house reminiscent of old Bangkok. Upon entering the restaurant an immediate transformation takes place as you are taken in with the ambience of the gorgeous French style atmosphere. The walls are painted in a soft butterscotch with beautiful molding and the fresh look of flowers throughout. The linen-covered tables have beautifully upholstered high-back chairs while the restaurant offers many romantic and private areas to sit back and relax. The upstairs is great, more than a loft, it's a beautiful romantic spot to enjoy the band playing 60's music while having dinner or relaxing on one of their many comfortable sofas. This is definitely one of the most romantic and beautiful restaurants I have visited in Bangkok. Although there was a good choice of beer, since I was dining with my girlfriend in such a romantic French style restaurant I felt it would be out of character to order anything but wine. So, we chose the house wine which was very good, toasting to our future, and proceeded to order from the menu while enjoying the great music. We got here at the perfect time as the band starts playing at 8:00PM and delivers your favorites tunes until 12:00 Midnight. Neither of us had eaten all day so we ordered a couple appetizers, the Deep-Fried Marinated Chicken Wings and the Mini-Tacos. She then ordered the Pumpkin Cappuccino Soup and I selected the House Salad (sort of a chef salad, loaded with ham, cheese, etc). For our main course; Her choice was the River Prawns in Spicy Chili Sauce and I selected the Grilled Australian Sirloin Steak. There wasn't much room for dessert but we couldn't resist the ice cream as they offer 12 flavors of Baskin Robbins. Food: Excellent, Drink:V.Good, Service: V.Good Price: Reasonable This is a turnkey operation with unlimited possibilities. Total improvements cost 13 million Baht, it yours for only 8 million. The owner is a diplomat and is being transferred.
