| In this set you will find the main unit, a PIR (motion detector), door sensor and a remote control to turn the alarm on and off. Perfect for the condo or small house. Easy to install. * CE-approved product. * EN50131 standard (European Standards Series for Intruder Alarm Systems). * 1 year warranty. Features: * Wireless easy setup. * Calls up to 8 phone numbers when triggered (requires phoneline). * Expandable to up to 32 units - divided into 2 sections. * The remote control is used to turn the alarm on and off and also set off a panic alarm. If you are at home when somebody breaks in to you house or condo. * Smart Motion detectors. * All items are equipped with saboutage protection. System installation example: 1. Attach the control panel to a wall near a phone line, connect the phone line (after you insert its batteries) to the phone jack in the control panel, install the back up battery and connect AC power. Green flashing LED indicates function of the control panel, the red LED indicates enrollment of the control panel to the phone line. 2. You will see that the system is in programming mode. 3. Now we can test the provided remote control, it is reported as a controller c2 (address c1 is occupied by optional wireless keypad) 4. We will attach the included door sensor to the door frame and its magnet to the door. You can see that it reports as detector address number 1. 5. To install the included PIR detector we have to attach its bracket at first and then we only click the detector on it. It needs couple seconds to stabilize and then it reports on the address number 2. 6. Installation of the indoor siren (optional) is even more simple. Just plug it in the socket. It has no backup and in fact it helps to separate thieves to two groups: one will leave the place after the siren sounds, the second one will fight the siren. It can be smashed easily, but the thief is just wasting his time, there is no lead to show him where the control panel is located. 7. As a last one we will install the optional wireless door bell button by the door. Done! Pros and cons to wireless security systems: Wired, which is actually dying out if you like it or not. It is very problematic to make any changes in the wired systems, their installation is expensive because cabling and it is destructive to the building interior. The products are cheap and the makers are competing only in their price. Such a price war is pushing the prices so low, that no one in the distribution network is earning money. So the profit is dropping down and installers are not motivated to install hard wired systems at all. On the other hand, Wireless solution s flexible. You can make changes very easily, installation is simple and it is friendly to the building interior. Certainly a good quality wireless system costs a bit more that the wired one.
