They employ over 1,000 staff and have a new 130,000 square feet manufacturing facility that is equipped with the latest Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) equipment and technologies. Our client\'s capabilities range from box build, kitting and surface mount technology to wave soldering and they offer a seamless integration of outsourced components and services to provide a complete manufacturing hub for electronics OEM. They are committed to serving their customers by providing competitive service prices, on time delivery and zero defects. Due to their continued success they now require exceptional management staff to drive their expansion. MATERIALS DIRECTOR The Materials Director will be reporting to the Senior Operations Director and will be responsible for providing the direction, key improvement target areas and initiatives in our client\'s inventory management, inventory turnaround and JIT hubs for suppliers. This will involve implementing activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. The Materials Director will be expected to develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and material control systems that reduce costs, streamline procedures and produce solutions. This will be achieved by providing leadership in the areas of procurement, materials planning, scheduling, acquisition, supplier management, inventory management and logistics processes. This position would suit a Senior Manager carrying out a similar role in a manufacturing environment who has a good knowledge of modern techniques.
