BKK12097G -The owner of this 43 year old Bangkok Import Export Company has reached retirement age, and is looking to sell his company with the aim of passing on the proceeds to his loyal staff. He has been in place since the formation of the company and has made good profits over the years; he feels that it is only fair to reward the workforce in this way for helping the firm become so successful. Two beverage products are imported, and distributed through leading supermarket chains; they are on display on the shelves of virtually every top supermarket in Bangkok. Once a month, a container of dried fish is exported to Sri Lanka. The company would be an excellent acquisition for the location and lease terms alone. Sitting close to Sukhumvit Road, in a double shop house, the firm has monthly rental payments of only 21,250 baht to meet, on a long 23 year lease contract that still has nine years and nine months to run; there is then another 30 year option. The only stipulation is that the remaining rent for the nine year and nine month period be payable up front (a payment of 2,400,000 baht) plus 240 baht per month; this nine year and nine month period is registered at the Land Department. Annual receipts of approximately 4,000,000 baht are yielding net profits of 900,000 baht, and the products are now firmly entrenched in the Thai market, so similar sales can be relied upon. If anything, they could possibly be improved, as there is currently no website operating. The new owner will also acquire an eight year old delivery van, a one year old motorcycle and an inventory that is currently worth 1,600,000 baht. There are 10 employees, and their remuneration totals 100,000 baht per month.
