BKK11542G - This company in one of Thailand’s most beautiful cities has a three year, renewable contract to print International Newspapers for local consumption. Over 250 newspapers are currently available and the consumer simply places the order over the Internet. The company in question receives editions of the newspapers, also via the Internet, at the same time as the editions are sent to their respective printing presses in their country of origin. Consequently the editions are often available locally before they even hit the newsstands in their country, and are then delivered to the customer. All are digitally laser printed, which means that the quality is also superior to the newsprint version. Part of an established global network, the company was formed only two months ago, (the parent company was formed six years ago) but the owner has other business interests that are taking up too much of his time; he has therefore decided to listen to offers. Early financial results have been encouraging, and projected over the first year of trade would lead to annual receipts of 2,400,000 baht producing profits of 700,000 baht. This is a run from home enterprise, therefore cutting down on overheads, and the owner utilises four full time employees who are paid a total monthly salary of 18,000 baht. Several signed contracts have already been secured with leading hotels and retail outlets, allowing the company to distribute to an extensive range of customers throughout the city. Two sister operations have already proved successful in different areas of the Kingdom after they were set up over a year ago, and there another four sister operations set up in other leading Thai cities.
