BKK11521YS - Twenty percent of the shares have become available in a new advertising company that uses television monitors, installed in Bangkok public places, to put across their clients’ message. A director of the one year old firm is making his allocation available as he is relocating to a neighbouring country to pursue a business venture. Located in the Ladprao area of the city, the company has established contracts with two leading local companies, and is currently airing advertising content for them at three prime locations, namely the three major Bangkok bus terminals at Ekkamai, Mochit and Pinklao. There are a total of 23 screens in place at these bus stations, owned and installed by the company, and there are plans afoot to place more screens around the city (initially in major hotels) and increase the working relationship with leading Thai companies. Revenues for 2004 totalled 780,000 baht, but profits were negligible due to installation and equipment costs; profit margins of 40% should now be realised however from all existing outlets. A leading Thai Government Department has already been secured for the next advertising campaign, and company assets have been valued at 5,000,000 baht. The office headquarters has a monthly rental outlay of 12,000 baht and there are seven full time and four part time employees commanding a total monthly salary of 40,000 baht.
