| BKK11872JM - This Bangkok based company is seeking Joint Partner’s, in different countries, who will acquire between 20% and 40% of the holdings of each respective branch, as the owner seeks to raise capital to take the company to the next stage. The unique concept has already proved successful in the United Kingdom, and this Thai offshoot of the company will seek to cash in on the worldwide popularity of Premier League football and golf. Partners are needed to open up in Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, China (four partners for four different regions), Ireland, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Germany and Russia. The partnership for Thailand was snapped up recently, and is no longer available. Golf competitions will be organised throughout each respective country, with the major attraction being two tickets (a random draw, with all competitors included) to spend a week in England, attending a major Premier League event, meeting the players, playing a round of gold with a leading ex professional, and being generally pampered. Similar competitions in Europe would feature tickets to Thailand as the major prize. The project would open doors and build bridges between Europe and Asia, and government departments have already signalled an interest in becoming involved. Good profits have been estimated, with tickets to enter the competitions fetching only 2,000 baht per entry (including green fees, meals, refreshments and entertainment). Only 60 pairs per competition would be allowed, meaning a 60:1 chance of winning the main prize for each competitor. Companies would be encouraged to attend with fees of approximately 350,000 baht per company, entitling the given organisation to nominate 70 players. The project would then cater to companies seeking to entertain clients and improve staff incentives, football supporters from all walks of life, and golf club members and their wives. Sponsorship per hole would cost companies around 14,000 baht, but with a minimum of 10 holes, bringing in at least 140,000 baht per company. Events have already started being held, and individual high profile corporate tournament sponsors have come on board, with a fee of 70,000 baht payable (these sponsors then present the main prize, and have a high profile during the event). The Tourism Authority of Thailand is giving serious thought to co-operating with this company to bring this concept to the Kingdom’s leading businesses; school exchange events are planned between Thailand and Britain, with other countries to follow. Extensive financial projections have been completed, and it is estimated that annual receipts of almost 40,000,000 baht would yield profits of almost 4,500,000 baht.
